Abortion - Right over One's Body
01.28.04 (12:26 pm)   [edit]
"A woman has a right over her body, to decide what happens in it, and to it. She should have the right to make her own decision regarding her pregnancy. Someone else cannot tell her what she may or may not do with her own body."

In short, a woman's right over her body does not give her a right to an abortion. The child is not a part of her body, but a distinct individual, entrusted to her, to be sustained and protected by her. The woman has a right over her body, including the right not to be destroyed. The child has the same right not to be destroyed. Granting a woman a right to an abortion denies the child his most fundamental right.

Between 6:34am and 6:57am (23 minutes) you commented on nearly each and every article that I have written on the topic of Abortion and the rights of the unborn child to the protection of our society. But at least you have had the courage to open the pages and read a little.

Tomorrow, or maybe next year you will read some other writing on the same subject. I hope that you do, because most people don't want to change their own ideas, but it can happen little by little over time.

I can't help but notice how much hubris that you seem to hold. Why is that? Have you be hurt by some evil, or another person? religion really doesn't need to have anything at all to do with this debate, I agree, but it is from religion down through time that we evolved laws, and justice, compassion, and yes morals too.

One group has impossed its beliefs on the rest of society, the cult of death. The cult now kills 1/3 of all babies each year in our country alone.

How can I sleep at night if I don't try to fight this cult, and the evil harvest it is collecting?

Please stay in touch. I won't be going away anytime soon I hope. I have only begun writing on this evil. Please keep reading my crappy, drivel perhaps it can help you to vent your hubis on me. Thats OK I have broad strong shoulders.

Your friend, Lynn
