How about Fidel Castro for US president and Bush for vice president. I mean, not just president of all vices. Nice one, thanks for this! posted by: gesn (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (6:13 am) Reply to: WhyNot But Castro was injured in his public fall a few days ago. We already handled having a clumsy President when Ford was in office ... I think we need to find one with a new issue - that one's already been handled. posted by: WhyNot (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (7:07 am) Reply to: gesn Right! How about Putin, then? Hey, he's not a bad lookin' fellow, plus he's a black belt karate expret, ain't he? :-) posted by: DrForbush (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (8:45 am) This is obviously sarcasm. It's funny that people on the right are so serious that they don't even recognize it. I hope you keep this posted, because anyone who has a brain and reads it will realize the joke that Bush is. posted by: DrForbush (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (8:47 am) Reply to: WhyNot I saved a copy of this sarcasm in case Lynn Krammer deletes it. posted by: musicalhair (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (11:14 am) Reply to: DrForbush You liberal elites and your "sarcasm", you just don't get it: these ARE the reasons to vote for Bush. If the only legitimate reasons to vote for Bush sound funny to you, then maybe that says more about you than Bush. Listen, I take my terror alerts seriously, I bought all new cloths to match the day's terror and keep a duffle bag with one up and one down from the day's level in case it changes mid day. If it jumps two levels in either direction I just hide in the nearest bathroom until the level returns to something I can wear. I should just go with a terror rainbow outfit but stripes make me look too fat. This article convinced me: I might vote for Bush, in spite of my endless blogging against him and every thing he stands for. Or maybe not. Do you think maybe se posted it without reading it? I can't beleive the tougue in cheek nature could fly over anyone's head. If half our country voting for Bush are as stupid as that well maybe, like Perry Farrell sang, we'll make great pets. posted by: gesn (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (11:18 am) Reply to: WhyNot That's good .. I don't think we've had a martial arts President yet ... posted by: gesn (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (11:20 am) Reply to: musicalhair you almost made me wet myself that was so funny. posted by: WhyNot (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (12:27 pm) Reply to: gesn "you almost made me wet myself that was so funny." Yes, I'll go along with that. I'm on my second toilet paper roll trying to curb the flood. Thanks, MusicalHair, your comment is even funnier than LynnKrapper's post. posted by: WhyNot (reply) post date: 10.27.04 (12:48 pm) Reply to: musicalhair MH, I haven't been in tears laughing to this degree for a long time, just reading LynnKrapper's blog, but I must say your comment has now got me to near hospital emergency hysterics levels. Can't thank you enough! posted by: KristianHicks (reply) post date: 10.31.04 (12:22 pm) Brilliant, simply brilliant.. Can't they see this is a joke? It's not sarcasm, it's humour. A sense the right-wing seem to be lacking. posted by: ABlain (reply) post date: 01.25.05 (11:44 pm) I'm not sure what my reaction to this blog is. Based on the content of the blog and the following comments (which I briefly skimmed so sorry if I slight anyone), I'm inclined to believe that you were making a joke, but some of the statements made seem too serious to be a joke. Are you in support of Bush and truly believe all of this or are you not and see through it? I'm more inclined to believe the latter. |
